In the upcoming rom-com film titled “The Pet Nup,” a recently divorced couple finds themselves in a unique situation as they navigate their new lives apart. The twist comes in the form of a “Pet-Nup” agreement, which forces them to extreme lengths as they battle for custody of their beloved dog, the one thing in their lives that cannot be divided.
Directed by Elaine del Valle, known for her work in “Midnight Hustle,” the film features a talented cast including Emeraude Toubia from “With Love,” Gregg Sulkin from “Runaways,” Halston Sage from “Dark Phoenix,” and Emmy winner Jaime Pressly from “My Name Is Earl.”
Javier Chapa will produce the film for Mucho Mas Media, while Phillip Braun will serve as the executive producer. The script, penned by Tate Hanyok of “Sex Appeal,” promises to deliver a heartwarming and comedic take on the complexities of post-divorce life.
Emeraude Toubia, known for her roles in “With Love” and “Shadowhunters,” is set to star in the title role of Felipe Vargas’ horror film “Rosario,” as well as feature alongside Gina Rodriguez and Karla Souza in the upcoming comedy “Like It Used to Be.” Gregg Sulkin, recognized for his work in Hulu’s “Runaways,” is also slated to appear in Tyler Perry’s “Six Triple Eight” and the thrilling series “Arachnid.”
Halston Sage, with film credits including “The List,” “Daughter of the Bride,” and “Before I Fall,” has also made a mark in television with roles in “Prodigal Son” and various other projects. Jaime Pressly, who won an Emmy for her performance in “My Name Is Earl,” has continued to showcase her talent in shows like “Mom” and “Welcome to Flatch,” along with notable film appearances in “The Re-Education of Molly Singer” and “I Love You, Man.”
Elaine del Valle, besides directing “The Pet Nup,” has a rich history in the entertainment industry.
