After a little over a year of being exclusively available on PS5, Final Fantasy XVI is making its way to PC on September 17. This announcement by publisher Square Enix has stirred up excitement among PC gamers who have been eagerly waiting to get their hands on the latest numbered entry in the Final Fantasy series.
To add to the excitement, a free demo of the action-RPG is now available on both Steam and Epic Games Store. This demo features the opening prologue section of the game, offering players a glimpse into the world of Valisthea and the journey of the protagonist, Clive. What’s even more exciting is that save data from the demo will carry over to the full game when it launches. Players can also pre-order the game now and receive in-game items as rewards.
Final Fantasy XVI will be available in two editions on PC – Standard Edition and Complete Edition. The Standard Edition includes the base game, while the Complete Edition bundles the base game with the DLC chapters “Echoes of the Fallen” and “The Rising Tide” at a discounted price. Players can also purchase the expansions separately at launch or opt for the Expansion Pass, which includes both story chapters. The pricing for the Standard Edition is set at Rs. 3,499, while the Complete Edition comes in at Rs. 4,799.
The game offers two major expansions, “Echoes of the Fallen” and “The Rising Tide,” which add new story elements, boss battles, side quests, weapons, accessories, and even raise the level cap. This promises to enhance the gaming experience and provide players with even more content to explore. Additionally, the demo includes an “Eikonic Challenge” Mode, where players can engage in Eikon battles with expanded access to Eikonic Abilities.
Final Fantasy XVI’s arrival on PC is a highly anticipated event in the gaming community. With its engaging storyline, stunning graphics, and immersive gameplay, the game is expected to be a massive hit among PC gamers. The addition of the demo and pre-order options only add to the anticipation and excitement surrounding the game’s upcoming release. September 17 can’t come soon enough for fans eagerly waiting to embark on a new adventure in the world of Valisthea.
